As a Special Lecturer at Kresge Library, I have created several online learning modules that supports information literacy and research at Oakland University.
The first online module is a Copyright eCourse that I have developed with colleagues using Moodle, Oakland University’s course management system. The tutorial teaches students the basics of Copyright and how to appropriately use Copyrighted materials.
As the mathematics and statistics librarian, I collaborated with the engineering and computer science librarian in the development of an STEM online learning module. The purpose of the module is to demonstrate the research process used in the STEM profession. The online learning module was integrated into the University Libraries credit-bearing course, LIB 250: Research in the Information Age.
I have also created an online tutorial using Adobe Captivate. The purpose of my tutorial is to demonstrate effective keyword searching in Academic OneFile.
My Academic OneFile Tutorial is currently located on Oakland University’s e-Portfolio server.
